Meredith Miller

Meredith Miller is Director of Programs for the Center for Resource Management. She has been with the Center since October, 1990. Meredith has a B.A. in Government from Bowdoin College and a Masters in Urban Planning from the University of Michigan. Her career has focused on developing innovative and collaborative solutions to community-based problems. At the Center, Meredith has served as Project Manager for many of the Business and Environment projects, including a wide array of environmental assessments and strategies. She has also served as co-leader/facilitator of two of the Center’s ongoing multi-sector coalitions: Golf & the Environment and the North American Communications Environmental Excellence Initiative.

Meredith has also served on Wal-Mart’s Environmental Advisory Board since 1990, and has helped to conceptualize and implement many of the environmental demonstration projects undertaken by Wal-Mart in the past decade. Prior to joining the Center, Meredith worked in the fields of urban planning, development economics and rural economic/community development. She held positions with the national land use economics firm of Hammer, Siler, George Associates, Cole & Associates, Rocky Mountain Institute, and the State of Colorado. While at CRM, Meredith has co-authored several articles addressing collaborative approaches to environmental management and has been a presenter at several national events. She works in CRM’s Denver office.
